How to Weigh Flour?

  1. Place the mixing bowl on the scale and push the tare button to zero out the weight of the bowl.
  2. To the weight specified in the recipe, add the first dry ingredient. Keep the ingredient in one section of the bowl in a compact lump.
  3. To zero out the scale, press the tare button once more, then add your second dry ingredient to a different portion of the bowl. (Keeping the dry ingredients within the bowl separate allows you to remove any if you add too much.)
  4. The final bowl of weighed ingredients will look like the image on the left.
